At age 9 I received my first drum set from my grandpa, it was a classic 1950's Ludwig kit. From there the passion to play the drums began. I have studied with instructors from Canada and the US and enjoy playing and listening to many different genres of music. I have provided groove and feel for orchestras, jazz, funk, church, and rock bands on stage, in coffee house, and in studio settings for over 30 years. The challenge to "play what is right for the song" is what continues to develop my style as a drummer. Currently I am drumming for Manitoba Loud Music guitarist and vocalist of the year Matt Cory, provide tracks for Entwined Music and Production in Calgary, and track songs for various other artists across Canada. I have supported artists at festivals and various live events in Quebec, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta. I am available to play for your live event or look forward to working with you on your next studio project.
